The witch is a multiple project where the primitive nature of humans is celebrated.
We called witches those creatures not following the ordinary social rules. They where instinctive, they felt their bodies, they respected their natural way to be. Rooted in their planet, witches were considered against the supernatural and feared for this.
Deby plays the role of a witch. She experiences the connection with the land, she enjoys her freedom, she hides in churches, she crosses time and space and she lives her body in a spontaneous, creative, sometimes mad, primitive way.
