emotion is an exhibition about performance photography, a practice where photography is a stage for performers and a chance for adventures.
Bodies are not containers for souls, not tools to transmit a message, but emotions, their main nature.
The photos have been taken over 3 years of performance photography in Cyprus, with artists from Greece, Netherlands, Italy, USA, Austria, Spain, Russia, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Palestine and obviously Cyprus.
The photos come from 16 original projects.
emotions is a photo exhibition in the frame of Juxtapose 2023, a performance festival where 7 performers play their works at the same time.
