Organic action of eight bodies filling the vastness in the lunar landscape of the Larnaca Salt Lake.
Saline dissonance
The salt of the sea has a flow, and Lara Salmon also has. Exploring the Mediterranean, richer in salt than oceans, Lara landed in Cyprus, where the Larnaca lagoon dries in summer becoming a salt lake.
Creation of the identity
Identity is our personal decision. Identity is a continuous research, is memory, is invention. Identity is multiple and unique for everyone. Identity is a creation of our incredible and unique souls, and nothing else.
Sythambo
Sythambo (Σύθαμπο, nightfall) is the celebration of the ancient memory of the land of Cypriot people. The inner land, the mountains, the trees, are conscious and unconscious souls connecting past and present.
Plastic life
This project is about turtles, and about humans. How is the life of a wild animal trying to enjoy the life in a polluted environment? Every animal, humans included, tries to enjoy life despite plastic, fishnets, disturbing pollution.
Looking for a North Passage
I went along the Buffer Zone to discover the landscape, but I realized quite early that I was unconsciously looking for a North Passage.
